M.I.A. Joins Roc Nation

Yesterday, Roc Nation Management announced the arrival of their newest artist to the team… M.I.A.
M.I.A. is a British artist, songwriter and producer where many may be familiar with her hit single “Bad Girls”. M.I.A. kicked off her career as a visual artist and designer in London in 2000 and then later dived into the music side in 2002. Her earlier singles “Sunshowers” and Galang” charted the top 20 on Billboard Hot Dance Single Sales chart. From 2002 until now she has risen as a top female British artist, worked with Missy Elliot, performed all over including the Central Park SunmmerStage Concert, Coachella Arts and Music Festival, and Super Bowl XLVI. With a blend of Hip Hop, alternative rock, blues, and electro M.I.A. brings a bit of edge to the music industry.
Roc Nation tweeted yesterday, “the nation just keeps on growing” and Rihanna retweeted with the comment “Welcome home M.I.A.” We all look forward to seeing what Roc Nation and M.I.A has in store for the coming months.
